Thoughts on Obama’s Legacy
I voted for him twice. I raised and donated twice. I am proud and grateful to our First Lady. Mrs. Obama has done so much for children and effected difference; she has been more of a leading, gracious yet accessible First Lady this country has had in a long time. We are lucky for her service.
POTUS has disappointed here on the Homefront severely. Leadership starts at the top. The FDA, EPA and other departments are oversized and ineffective. President Obama has permitted sonar in the Atlantic to search for oil which disrupts sea life that lives by sonar; permitted drilling in unspoiled Alaska.
I applaud his hard stance against Putin. He could be harder on China but he’s gotten better and is preparing for the inevitable.
He betrayed America by making marijuana a Class One drug in his final months when he promised during his campaign to try to legalize. I’m not upset he didn’t accomplish that, but he went ballistic by making it Class One like heroin when our jails are already overrun. He essentially sent us back to Nancy Reagan’s Terror which sent kids to jail for 25 years for 5 joints.
President Obama, most of all, I hope, taught men how to father young women.
It’s not an FDR Legacy.
