My empty nest is now alive and robust. Toys, tunnels, bones, balls and random objects are scattered all about. Losing marbles 101: Yesterday I was working at my desk. I need non-prescription readers to do paperwork. I’m working for 20 minutes when I realize my eyeglasses are uncomfortable. I take off my reading glasses. Oh geez. I’d been working for 20 minutes with my glasses ACTUALLY UPSIDE DOWN on my face. I mean, really – who does that. Meanwhile, I’ll be focusing on keeping my marbles.
I grew up near birds for almost my entire life, beginning at age 5 when I lived in Long Beach Long Island, NY. On the beach in Long Beach there were so, so, so many seagulls.
